Honey Locust Collar
The Honey Locust is truly the giving tree of North America. It's thorns have been used as sewing needles to provide us with shelter and darts to help protect and hunt. It's greatest gift is the sweet tasting legume of which its name derives from. The Honey Locust has helped protect and shelter and nourish mankind for a life time.
The necklace is cast in bronze then finished with a 24k matte gold. Strung on a line of cast bronze segments the necklace secures with an adjustable clasp. Handcrafted at the Michael Michaud Design studio in New York.
