To keep your ZAP chain looking its best, a little care goes a long way.
Avoid exposing your jewellery to harsh chemicals like chlorine—found in pools, hot tubs, and some cleaning products—as they can weaken the metals alloyed with gold and affect the integrity of your piece.
If your chain does come into contact with any chemicals, rinse it with mild soap and water as soon as you can and dry it completely with a soft cloth. Prolonged exposure can cause fading, damage, or even breakage over time.
Pro tip: If you’re planning to swim in treated water, you can help protect your permanent jewellery by covering it with medical tape.
