The Summer Solstice marks the longest day of the year—a moment to welcome the season of light, reflect on our connection to the natural world, and celebrate traditions that continue to inspire us.
For nearly three decades, one of the most meaningful traditions at Magpie has been our partnership with a talented group of First Nations artists from British Columbia. Their work has become an integral part of our story, and a collection that many of our customers return to year after year.
Hand-carved in Sterling Silver, Copper, and 14k Gold, each piece is rich with symbolism and storytelling. Eagles, Wolves, Bears, Hummingbirds, Orcas, and Ravens appear throughout the collection, each carrying teachings, characteristics, and cultural significance that have been shared through generations. These designs are more than decorative motifs—they are expressions of identity, connection, strength, family, healing, and respect for the world around us.
What continues to resonate with us after all these years is the extraordinary craftsmanship behind every piece. From the fine details of a carved feather to the flowing lines of a spirit bead necklace, each design reflects the skill and artistry of the maker, preserving traditions while creating something that can be worn and treasured every day.
As we celebrate the arrival of summer, we invite you to explore this remarkable collection and the stories it carries.
